Room and Enclosure Width:
Like almost all simulators, Uneekor is a "center strike" system. This means that the hitting zone where the ball is placed is in the center of the system left to right. Consider the parameters for determining your room width relative to comfortably swinging from both the right and left-handed sides.

The distance from the hitting zone (where the ball goes in the center of the space) to the sidewall would be best at no less than 6.5 feet. However, you can decide. Place a ball a distance from any wall that represents half the width of your chosen space. Swing a driver and see if you can live with it.
Consider that the enclosure must fit within your room. Make note, though, that if you choose a 5' depth for your enclosure you can make the enclosure narrower, as your swing won't be restricted by the side walls. But your room should be of a width that satisfies you. |

Enclosure depth:
Our DIY enclosures come in either 5' or 10' depth. Typically, the ball is placed 10-12' from the screen, or the back of the enclosure. Here are your considerations for enclosure depth:

- Consider that if the enclosure depth is 10' your swing space from the ball to the side of the enclosure will be limited by the width of the enclosure. Anything less than 14' can feel cramped, and anything less than 13' can be restrictive.
- Consider how high (vertical launch angle) you might hit a rare lofted wedge or skied drive. If the ball is 10' from the screen (the minimum recommended) and the enclosure is 5' deep, any shot with a vertical launch angle of more than about 45 degrees, give or take, will hit your ceiling.

Room depth:
Consider the following:
Consider the following:
- You will need at least 1' from the back end of the enclosure (where the screen is) to the back wall. You cannot place the screen end of the enclosure flat against the back wall.
- You should allow at least 10' from the screen to the hitting zone.
- You must allow not less than 6' for your backswing, and no one wants to swing to within a few inches from a wall.
- Adding this up: 1' from back wall to screen, 10' from screen to ball, 6' from ball to back of backswing. Whatever makes you comfortable beyond the back of the backswing (test it out as suggested with width).
- This adds up to 17' at a bare minimum. You could get away with the hitting zone 9' from the screen, but you might not like it so get a feel for that as well.
Enclosure height:
This is simple. Our DIY enclosures can be as high as 10'. You pay no more for 10' high than 8' high. So, set your enclosure height as high as possible. Consider only that it's best that the top of the enclosure is recessed not less than 1' from the ceiling.

Further considerations:
- You'll need to consider how and where you'll mount your projector. This will affect your projector choice and if you need to get hardware to mount your projector to your enclosure, your ceiling, or end wall.
- You'll have a computer to power your sim, and a monitor or touchscreen. Consider where in your room this will go and to ensure it's not in the way of play.
- Consider that you'll want to put your golf clubs somewhere--smaller spaces can be challenging. And consider if you play with friends, where they'll stand or sit (sitting is nice), and their clubs. And consider if you have many friends over, the fact that they might want to watch. It's up to you to what degree you accommodate these things.
